Volunteering (Seva) is a major element of Sikhism and is strongly encouraged by the Sikh Heritage Foundation. The dedication of volunteers will be a major factor in the success of the Sikh Heritage Foundation. We particularly encourage the participation of youth.

Placements are determined by matching volunteer qualifications, interests, knowledge and availability with project requirements.

Qualified applicants are referred to the Board of Directors for consideration. A minimum time commitment of 5 hours per week during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, is usually required.
